This years HINZ Conference & Exhibition was held from 9-11 August 2006, in Auckland, NZ

The 2006 HINZ Conference included Two Technical Workshops on:

Full Day Workshop led by Rene Spronk, an international expert in HL7 standards from the Netherlands

**ACHIEVING SEMANTIC INTEROPERABILITY: THE openEHR (CEN 13606) APPROACH
Half Day Workshop led by Sam Heard, CEO Ocean Informatics

• Cecil Lynch, M.D., M.S., Assistant Professor in Medical Informatics at the University of California, USA presents:
  "Integrating the Electronic Health Record with Public Health Needs -What’s the Big Deal?"
